- Length of Program: 1 ½ hours
Teaching: “Responding to God, Person to Person”
In his personal, practical, and down-to-earth style, Vinny will talk about the Eucharist in the context of God’s overall plan, showing how Christ’s “Real Presence” demands a real response. In clear, simple terms, he explains the teachings of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI that the Eucharist is “not a piece of a body, not a thing, but a Person,” Christ Himself. The emphasis is on why and how we are called to develop a real, person-to-person relationship with Christ in the Eucharist that will bring new power and meaning to every aspect of our daily lives, especially during this Year of Faith and New Evangelization.
Standard Requirements:
1. Product Tables (two 8-foot tables) provided for our books, CDs, and informational materials.
2. Travel, meals, transportation, and hotel accommodations provided (or costs reimbursed) for Vinny Flynn and a Travel Companion.
3. Stipend: $1500.
* While this special program is the one we will be focusing on for parishes, this entire program and any of Vinny’s popular talks on the Eucharist, Confession, Mary, or Divine Mercy are still available for national and international conferences (and for churches or other groups by request.) Shared Costs:
When we have multiple, back-to-back events in a particular area, costs are often lower for each host group, because travel/lodging/food costs can be shared.
