Eucharistic Parish Mission
“Responding to God, Person to Person”
“Saying Yes to the Father.” The mission begins Sunday evening (7:00-8:30) with a focus on God, not merely as creator but as a Father who wants to be personally involved with each of His children. The emphasis is on the need for a personal experience of God’s mercy, understanding the Father’s plan to bless and forgive each of us, heal our wounds, and restore us to new life as His sons and daughters.
“Embracing the Blessing.” Monday evening (7:00-8:30) focuses on the Divine Mercy Image as not only the image of Jesus but also of God the Father, who continues to bless us, even though our likeness to Him has been disfigured and lost by sin. The emphasis is on how to personally accept and receive that blessing, allowing Him to restore us in His image and likeness.
“Meeting Jesus the Healer.” Tuesday evening presents the sacrament of reconciliation as a profound healing encounter with the Person of Jesus Christ. The emphasis is on how to really meet Jesus in the confessional and let go of the wounds, unforgiveness, and sin that can keep us from being restored and healed. The presentation is from 7:00-8:00, followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Adoration, and confessions. We provide gentle, healing music throughout the Adoration and confession time.
“Becoming Transparent to God.” Wednesday evening focuses on the Eucharist and Our Lady, based on my book 7 Secrets of the Eucharist and the writings of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI — especially Pope Benedict’s teaching about the need for a personal response to the “radical newness” that Christ offers to us in the Eucharist. The presentation is from 7:00-8:00, followed by a “Hem of the Garment” healing procession with the Eucharist. We provide gentle, healing music throughout the procession.
Eucharistic Healing Retreat
A shorter and more intimate gathering for smaller groups, this retreat covers the same topics as the parish missions, but is tailored to fit the individual needs of your group.
Single Day or Evening Presentations
Father-Child-Love. This presentation, similar to Day 1 of our full mission, focuses on God, not merely as creator but as a Father who wants to be personally involved with each of His children. The emphasis is on the need for a personal experience of God’s mercy, understanding the Father’s plan to bless and forgive each of us, heal our wounds, and restore us to new life as His sons and daughters.
Healing & Holiness. This presentation, similar to Day 2 of our full mission, focuses on the sacrament of reconciliation as a profound healing encounter with the Person of Jesus Christ. The emphasis is on how to really meet Jesus in the confessional and let go of the wounds, unforgiveness, and sin that can keep us from being restored and healed. The presentation may be followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Adoration, and confessions, while we provide gentle, healing music.
Image of Mercy. This presentation, similar to Day 3 of our full mission, focuses on the Divine Mercy Image as not only the image of Jesus but also of God the Father, who continues to bless us, even though our likeness to Him has been disfigured and lost by sin. The various elements of the message of Divine Mercy (from the Diary of St. Faustina) are explained using the image as an icon that tells the whole story of God’s mercy. The emphasis is on how to personally accept and receive the Father’s blessing, allowing Him to restore us in His image and likeness so that we become living images of His mercy in the world. The presentation may be followed by veneration of a relic of St. Faustina.
7 Secrets of the Eucharist. This presentation, similar to Day 4 of our full mission, focuses on the Eucharist, based on my book 7 Secrets of the Eucharist and the writings of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI — especially Pope Benedict’s teaching about the need for a personal response to the “radical newness” that Christ offers to us in the Eucharist. The presentation may be followed by the celebration of Holy Mass or by a “Hem of the Garment” healing procession in which a priest or deacon blesses people individually with the Eucharist while we provide gentle, healing music.
Maid-Made-Full. This presentation focuses on the fullness of grace given to Mary and meant to be received also by each of us. Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the powerful new teachings of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, the presentation presents a clear explanation of the mysteries of the Immaculate Conception, the Annunciation, and the Visitation, emphasizing Mary’s role as teacher, model, and “Woman of the Eucharist.” The presentation may be followed by the recitation of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary from The Gospel Rosary of Pope John Paul II.
*Many other topics are also available, depending upon the specific goals and needs of your parish or group.
